Bible Verse: Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teaching. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”  John 8:31-32

Reflection: A co-worker pops their head in and asks, "are you free?" They want to know if you have time for whatever is on their mind. Perhaps they have a question, need your advice, or want to share something with you. Whatever the case, they are asking if you are able to set aside what you are doing, to give them some time.

Jesus says the truth will set us free. The Good News of Jesus is that when we confess our sin, God forgives us, and sets us free. Free from the bondage and burden of guilt and sin. We are free to love and serve others.

Prayer for Today: "Lord, thank you for your freedom! If I can be of service to You today, by giving my time, energy, or resources to someone else, help me to see the opportunity and to respond. Amen."
