Bible Verse: I have other sheep that don’t belong to this sheep pen. I must lead them too. They will listen to my voice and there will be one flock, with one shepherd. John 10:16
Reflection: How many of us have people in our lives whom we love that are in need of a Shepherd and don’t quite realize it or are struggling. Are they lost, afraid, skeptical, bruised or broken? Regardless, our call as Christians is to be their Shepherd, as Jesus set the example for us in this verse.
This precious Lenten Season will soon lead to the celebration of our Risen Savior and what a better time for us to offer “Sheparding” to all our sheep, whether they belong or believe.
Pray with Me: Heavenly and Gracious Father, lead me to a sheep that needs a shepherd today. Place on my heart the patience to understand where they are, open my ears to listen to their story and give me the right words to guide and counsel. Amen
