Lord, in this busy season please help us to be still. We are opening our ears now to hear You, quietly preparing our hearts for the wonder of Your coming at Christmas.

As you go forth from this place, may you be inspired both by God’s mysterious darkness and by God’s marvelous light. May you be called beyond your comfort zone to share God’s Advent Peace with those to whom peace is a stranger. May you be Christ to a world in desperate need of Christ. Amen.
